Mike is a former Australian cricketer and current T20 player. As one of Australia’s most respected and awarded cricketer’s Mike is known for his hard work, integrity and commitment to everything he does both on and off the field.
Mike is a West Australian, born in Perth and attended Prendiville Catholic College. After finishing school he a scholarship to the Australian Cricket Academy and pursued his talent and passion for cricket.
Above and beyond his formidable cricketing achievements and the extensive community work he has done over these years, Mike has a Bachelor of Education (Chemistry) and is a qualified company director having completed the Australian Institute of company’s Directors course.
Mike is currently an Ambassador for both the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and Starlight Foundation, member of Nine’s cricket commentary team, holds sponsorships with Kookaburra and Nine Network, has previously been a Director at VenuesWest and a former Executive Committee Member of the Australian Cricketers Association,
Mike lives in Perth, is married to Amy and has four young children, Jasmin, William, Molly and Oscar. Mike has a particular interest in boys and men’s health and wellbeing and particularly believes in the quality and holistic education of boys in the hope it will positively influence them as they grow into good men.
